The Physical Properties Of Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene Film

Biaxially oriented polypropylene film with a light, no poison, no smell, moisture, high mechanical strength, good dimensional stability, good printing performance, transparency and so on. With high transparency and gloss, barrier properties good low temperature resistance, high impact strength, and so on. The drawback is the hot time prone to film shrinkage (shrink tobacco film heat shrinkage). Its performance is superior to the moisture-proof cellophane, polyethylene (PE) film, PET film. BOPP film also has excellent printing effect. Representative physical properties data: turbidity < 1.5%; >85% gloss; tensile strength (vertical/horizontal) >120/200MPa; elongation (vertical/horizontal) <180%/65%; elastic modulus of 1700~2500Mpa; brittleness temperature of-50 degrees Celsius.

Cons: lower elongation than PP, heat seal performance is poor, not sealing when used independently, when used with PE film with good heat sealing compound.

Advantages: high tensile strength, barrier properties, and a high degree of transparency.
